Ball Haye Green, Leek
The houses are the old millworkers dwellings, now all privately owned since the closure of the mills (mostly textiles), and is one of many similar streets in Leek. The street itself is named after an open area behind the cottages to the left.

An idiosyncratic pair of terraced houses from the Sugden architectural practice. Built to give the impression of a single house. The placing of the chimneys implies some inconvenient siting of fireplaces in the rooms, or some very tortuous flues.
