Cheadle Road, Forsbrook
Both Blythe Bridge and Forsbrook together form Forsbrook Parish and over the years the two have fused, so it is not easy to determine exactly where one ends and the other begins. However, the green sign here close to the junction of Cheadle Road and Caverswall Old Road announces arrival in Forsbrook so the boundary is presumably somewhere in this immediate area.

Cheadle Road, Forsbrook
This is the centre of Forsbrook with Roshni (an Indian restaurant), Codswallop (for fish and chips) and Lesley's Lunchbox (a sandwich shop) in view. The road through Forsbrook is the A521 which connects Blythe Bridge and Cheadle.

Flowers at the Cheadle Road/Blythe Mount Park Junction
This colourful flowerbed is located where Blythe Mount Park leads off Cheadle Road in Blythe Bridge. The plaque states that planting was sponsored by the Care and Fun Club Day Nursery.

Shops in Forsbrook
These two shops are on Chapel Street close to its junction with Cheadle Road in the centre of Forsbrook. The barber shop is run by Amy Bagguley and sports the traditional barber's pole; next door is Forsbrook wine cellars - for 'discount alcohol, cigarettes, DVD rental and traditional sweets'.

Thank you from the Butcher's Arms
Sentiments like this have blossomed during the Covid-19 crisis and the Butcher's Arms - in the absence of anything much being on here or anywhere else - has used this board to add its thanks to the NHS and all key workers. In fact by this date the pub was allowed to open for table service outside, a major improvement on total closure which had applied throughout the winter.
