On the last day of January with both snow and frost lying heavily on the ground it is no surprise there is no Cricket taking place at Caverswall Cricket Ground.

The Auctioneer's Arms, Cookshill
The pub was closed in 2016 and is boarded up. During 2017 the Caverswall Community Society launched a share offer, so that it can be bought by the community; this closed on 1st August, and an offer has been made to buy the pub.

The Club house
Caverswall Cricket Club club house. I was told it is open at some time all 365 days in the year as a social centre for the area but is of course especially busy on weekends in the summer when it hosts several matches each weekend.
