Stallington Hall
Stallington Hall (a.k.a. Stallington Grange) a formerly grand house, which belonged to Sir Smith Child, the MP for North Staffs in the 1850s and West Staffs in the 1870s. The hall was sold to Stoke on Trent City Council in the 1920s, whereupon it was converted to a hospital for the mentally infirm. Despite the highly parlous state of the building, it remains Listed http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-468845-stallington-hall-hospital-and-attached-s The photo was taken by squeezing between a hoarding and the front fence at the site

Stallington Hall / Hospital
Stallington Hall also known as Stallington Grange. Built for Sir Smith Child MP in the 1850s was sold to the council in the 1920s and used as a hospital for the mentally infirm. It's a grade II listed building but is in a very sorry state and the roof has fallen in. They are doing work there now but I don't know what. Interesting pics taken inside in 2006 and 2016 https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/stallington-hall-hospital-a-decade-of-decay-2006-2015.98885/
