The Heath House was the subject of Channel 4's programme Country House Rescue in 2010 and has been the location for a number of films and TV series. The Heath House
Heath House from the pool (a small open reservoir) in the grounds. Heath House is the home of the Philips family, who were known for their philanthropic activity during the C18th/C19th in the nearby communities of Tean and Cheadle Staffs. Orangery Heath House
The Orangery at The Heath House Tean. Heath House was completely rebuilt in 1836 by the Philips family, employers of the folk of Tean and Cheadle Staffs throughout the C19th in the weaving of tapes. Stable Block at The Heath House
The stable block at The Heath House in need of renovation. The Heath House has been used as a location in a number of professional films but in the 1960s local amateur film maker Bill Townley used the stable area to recreate the exploits of Jack Baskeyfield VC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Baskeyfield who lost his life at the Battle of Arnhem.
