And Anchor Inn. The memorial stands in the middle of a busy road close to an even busier mini-roundabout. Not a place for quiet remembrance.

Essex Way doctors' surgery
We have been using this practice since we moved to Benfleet in the early seventies. In that time, the patients (me) have got older and the doctors got younger. However the outside appearance of the surgery has remained the same.
