Carved stone post by the B1013, in parish of RAYLEIGH (ROCHFORD District), in garden of Sweyne Court, Hockley Road, by the road, on Southeast side of road. Erected by the Rochford Hundred (Div of Essex First Dist) turnpike trust in the 19th century.

This is the main road into Rayleigh from Hockley. The white post is a milestone which does not appear to have any markings.
