Village Sign
This is the Great Waklering village sign which stands at the junction of Southend Road and Star Lane which is a mini roundabout. The fields behind belong to Oldbury Farm.

Artificial mound in field
This long mound is marked as a line on the map. It is beside the southern end of the private road which leads from here to the landfill site on Barling Marsh. Perhaps it is made from material left from the construction of the roadway.
