Heath House, Victoria Avenue
Formerly Coleman House, Heath House dates from the early 1960s and is in a similar state of dereliction to Carby House (right). It was last occupied by C E Heath Insurance until the 1990s and has been empty ever since. Given that Heath House is almost opposite Southend Police Station it should be possible to work out what the 'F T P' graffiti stands for.

Derelict office blocks in Victoria Avenue
Heath House (centre) and Carby House (right) have been derelict for a number of years and have become symbolic of Southend's decline as a regional office centre. The future of their sites is at present uncertain.
