Tudor Chambers, Broadway, Basildon
As is evident, Pitsea largely pre-dates the New Town and has several inter-war mock-Tudor blocks, this one from 1929. The section round the corner on the left is dated 1956, an odd bit of work to be happening during the development of the New Town.

As is evident, Pitsea largely pre-dates the New Town and has several inter-war mock-Tudor blocks, this one from 1934. It adjoins the much more New Town-esque Broadway Chambers, 1959-64.
