Old lime kilns, Fulwell, Sunderland
These lime kilns are a relic of quarries which used to occupy this site. The kilns, which are Grade II listed, are located on the A1018 road running north from Sunderland towards South Shields.

Fulwell Windmill, Sunderland
The restored windmill at Sunderland dating from 1806. The building on the right is used as a tea room and visitor centre open between Wednesday and Saturday. The windmill is fully functional and the sails can be seen turning on certain days. Contact them on +44 191 537 3231 for fuller details.

Fullwell Mill
On a recent Heritage walk round the Burn and ending at this lovely refurbished mill.
It was opened for the day and all were allowed to reach the top position inside the Mill.
