The north end of Durham Terrace is closed to all traffic except buses. This enables buses to serve local housing but prevents the road being used as a short cut by other traffic.

Horrid things - can be hard to get through and become very irritating in a cumulative fashion. Supposedly keeps motorbikes out, but they don't.
