This small postbox stands outside a hair salon named East Stour Hairport, and may well have been moved from the next-door premises partially visible beyond, which was the shop and post office until a couple of years ago.

East Stour Telephone Exchange, Wilts
Situated on the A30 road near the B3092 road, this TE dates back to the GPO era with the red telephone box in front of it. The BT warning notice can be seen on the gate. Besides East Stour, this TE also serves Stour Row and West Stour nearby. It has (01747) 838xxx numbers, the (01747) referring to the Shaftesbury group of TEs, and its postcode is SP8 5LW. A road sign indicating Bend to right with a maximum 30mph speed limit can be seen on the right of the photo.
