Buckhorn Weston: replacement postbox № SP8 77
This postbox has replaced the former box set into the wall of the post office, which has now been demolished.

The village now has a mobile post office visit a couple of times a week.

Buckhorn Weston: the old post office
The post office closed in 2008 along with 2,500 branches nationwide, after serving Buckhorn Weston for 124 years – the village shop went with it. A notice on the door states that there is an outreach service every Wednesday and Friday, for a couple of hours, in the village hall, and asks that the service be used in order to keep it viable.
