Bourton war memorial
The village remembers its fallen close to the main road and the school. Behind it is a stone wall which happens to be built from the rubble of the previous school that was destroyed by fire in 1983.

Bourton: postbox № SP8 74 and the village shop
This George VI-reign postbox is set into a brick pillar outside the shop which may well once have been the post office. It is emptied finally at 5pm on weekdays and at 9:45am on Saturdays. Nowadays the post office is a short distance to the northeast - see Image
