Bunting's, Ebbesbourne Wake
The 18th century hipped roof cottage stands beside the minor road called Ebbesbourne Hollow. The cottage was used as a chapel by the newly formed Congregationalists Church in Ebbesbourne Wake, between 1782 and 1791.

Ebbesbourne Wake: Bowerchalke 4 (or 3) miles
The road to Bowerchalke, 4 miles to the left, is called The Hollow. However, an alternative route, knocking a mile off the journey, has been added to the signpost as if by afterthought.

Leaning signpost of Ebbesbourne Wake
Three years after Chris Downer took a picture of this finger post (Image) and any support it had has given up, causing it to lean against the hedge. Plus, the furniture sale is now over and has been replaced by yoga classes.
