Lodge near Fonthill Gifford
Former Tisbury Lodge to Fonthill Abbey (the fourth incarnation). 1860 by William Burn for the Marquess of Westminster. Limestone with a circular tower in a Scottish baronial style. The gate piers have obelisk or ball finials. Grade II listed.
One of a number of buildings or monuments in the area associated with the various Fonthill mansions, all of which have now disappeared.

Bench Mark, Fonthill Gifford
The bench mark is on the wall of the Beckford Arms. http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm33432
A bench mark is an Ordnance Survey arrowhead sign found on walls, bridges, churches and specially erected concrete posts where the altitude above sea-level has been accurately measured by surveyors. The arrowhead points to a horizontal line above it which marks the exact altitude.
