Fonthill House
There was an open day on June 12th 2002 - in aid of "My Time" Young Carers. The star event was a performance by soprano singer Poppy Neame who you can see on the house's front steps. This version of Fonthill House was constructed in 1973. The current owner is Alastair Morrison, 3rd Baron Margadale.

Fonthill House
This is the east side of Fonthill House taken from the public footpath that goes through the grounds of the house from the hamlet of Ridge to Fonthill Lake. This is only the most recent of a number of Fonthill Houses in the area going back to the sixteenth century, and was built relatively recently in 1972. The house is the home of the 3rd Lord Margadale, Alastair John Morrison.

Fonthill House
As the house described by Pevsner ("Wiltshire", 1963) as "built by Detmar Blow in 1904 in the local Wiltshire C17 style" is reported as being demolished in 1972, this would seem to be a further mansion on the same site.
