Fields above Fovant
On the right is the overgrown bridleway FOVA 8, seen from its junction with footpath FOVA 7. The paths around Fovant are a bit of a mess - see Image] and Image], for instance; surprising for a charming village with, I would imagine, plenty of dog-walkers.

Footpath, Fovant
It's not easy to get along footpath FOVA 7 as it runs in a gully down through Touching Head Copse. It's not merely obstructed with fallen branches, but surprisingly boggy for midsummer.

Bridleway, Touching Head Copse
Bridleway FOVA 8, and also I suppose footpath FOVA 7 (which continues in its own right a little later), passes narrowly through vegetation at the beginning of a descent into Fovant.

Footpath, Fovant
Somewhat flattering the charms of this path; following it from the top of the hill wasn't a very pleasant experience - see Image Here, ferns decorate the banks as the path approaches Tisbury Road through Touching Head Copse.
