Ludgershall: Queen's Head and the Market Cross
The Queen's Head was built in the early 16th century, although it was substantially rebuilt in the early 19th century as a coaching inn, with the large entrance nearest the photographer leading to a stable block at the rear. The Market Cross is outside the Queen’s Head and identifiable on this image by the green waste bin in front.
