Boy Scouts Drill Hall, Ludgershall
Opened as that in 1912, here (in 2015) signed as the headquarters of the 1st Ludgershall Scout Group. This group appeared to be a member of the dissident, traditionalist Baden-Powell Scouts' Association. They were later evicted and had to use other premises and to take a different name, as not part of the mainstream scouting movement.

Ludgershall: Castle Mews, Crown Lane
I think that the writing on the wall of this building says "Furniture Depository", implying that it might have been a forerunner of all those modern self-storage buildings, but particularly built to suit the needs of military personnel passing through. Whatever, the Sky satellite dishes show that it has been converted into residential properties.

Monument to Sir Richard Brydges - St James' church, Ludgershall
This magnificent canopied tomb-monument to Sir Richard Brydges and his wife, is one of the most important of its date in England. It is representative of a transitional style no longer of the period of Henry VIII, yet still not quite Elizabethan. Sir Richard, a onetime MP who served as High Sheriff of Berkshire in 1554, was knighted at Mary Tudor's coronation.
