Smannell Footpath 713
The southward path from the Portway that matches the green line shown in Image The paper notices attached to the post announce that footpath 711 is closed from October to March while a new road is constructed. That's the path running from East Anton to Finkley Down Farm Park, which this route crosses.

Finkley Farm Road
Looking north along the winding Finkley Farm Road, past Angora Road, on the new build housing estate. Some of the houses are 'fake' or perhaps not finished, as they had painted windows and bare blockwork indoors. It was a real ghost town when I visited.

Outskirts of Andover
As you approach Andover, Andover comes to meet you. This estate doesn't yet appear on most maps. Thanks to Christ Talbot's images, I know it is called Augusta Park. The view is from Finkley Road (following the Portway), across arable land that may be the next to be built on. The green track across the ploughed field is Smannell
