Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway (2)
This is the eastern portal of the 70 metre long tunnel on the miniature railway, through which the lower track runs. The tunnel was completed in 2003 some eleven years after the first tracks on the railway were laid. Note the electric signal and the triple rail trackwork which allows the railway to run both 7¼" and 10¼" gauge trains. The lefthand building seems to be numbers 1 to 25 Somers Way. The middle buildings are numbers 40 to 20 (L to R) Argosy Crescent, while the righthand one is numbers 43 to 65.
