Prysmian Cables factory, Eastleigh
Prysmian Cables and Systems is a company formed in 2005 by taking over Pirelli's energy and telecommunications cables businesses http://www.prysmian.com/ . A Pirelli cables factory has been present on this site for many years. In the past decade, much of the eastern part of the site was sold for housing, but the factory here is still operational. This picture shows the present boundary between the factory (left) and the new housing (right). For the view if you follow the red path seeImage In the foreground is the new George Raymond Road.
