Sign for the White Horse
This sign has been in use since the 15th century and remains very frequent because of its widespread heraldic usage. It was adopted by the kings of Wessex and is the traditional emblem of Kent.
The poor monkey is in a very vulnerable position, sliding off the back of the horse!
