Laundry Cottage, Bedfield Lane
Image points out that this "is a 17th century Grade II listed building that was the parsonage house for Kings Worthy. It acquired the name Laundry Cottage in the 19th century when the occupants did the laundry from nearby Headbourne Worthy House."

Bedfield House, Bedfield Lane
Image points out that this house was built by Joseph Taylor, a seed drill manufacturer, in the 1840s. He named it after a village in Suffolk where he was born. The lane, originally known as Hobbs Hill, was renamed after the house in the 1930s.

Headbourne Worthy Pumping Station
At the time of photographing, a notice says that Xylem and Southern Water "are working to improve Headbourne Worthy WPS". The pumping station seems to be quite important in that it is supplied with mains electricity and a backup generator and with oil fuel.
