Metal plate attached to stone post by the A3090, in parish of HURSLEY (WINCHESTER District), Pitt, junction of Enmill Lane, on triangle of grass, on North side of road. Romsey iron plate, erected by the Winchester & Romsey turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- WINTON 2 ROMSEY 9 Grade II listed.
