Winchester: parish church of St. Matthew, Weeke
A beautiful small church on an awkward little bend in the otherwise almost Romanly straight Stockbridge Road. This picture is taken from the other side of the road, where there is no pavement - on the double-bend this was a dangerous place to reach!

There is a public footpath to the left, leading towards open countryside. This side of Winchester has some large desirable residences tucked away.

Loyd-Lindsay Square
A new development around a small courtyard.
The only Loyd-Lindsay I can find is the Victorian soldier and philanthropist Robert Loyd-Lindsay, 1st Baron Wantage.
If any local historians can explain the connection I will update the caption.
