Royal Mail House, Rowland Hill Close, Dorcan, Swindon
This is a large Royal Mail facility that covers an area of 11.6 hectares (28.6 acres). Apart from a sorting office there is a major supplies depot for the Royal Mail. This plant used to be known as 'Raychem', an American company, as is Tyco. Tyco is a conglomerate which expanded rapidly in the 1990s. 'Tyco' was referred to by some as 'Take Your Company Over'.
