Pewsey: River Street (with former National School)
The building on the corner is an old school. The very 'churchy' architectural style makes it likely that it was originally a National School. The National Schools were founded by the Church of England in the days before universal state education. Their Non-Conformist counterparts were known as British Schools.

Upstream along the River Avon near Church Street, Pewsey
Sometimes known as the Salisbury Avon or the Hampshire Avon to distinguish it from the many other River Avons in England, this Avon rises in Wiltshire, flows through Salisbury and Hampshire before reaching the English Channel through Christchurch Harbour in Dorset.
