Path beside the railway, north of Pewsey
The Dursden Lane end of the footpath marked on the OS map is thoroughly blocked by brambles and impassable, but a clear path crosses the field next to the railway cutting.

Tree reflection in the River Avon
This small river north of Pewsey is the Salisbury Avon, eventually reaching the sea through Christchurch Harbour in Dorset. Despite its close proximity to the Kennet and Avon Canal, it is the Bristol Avon from which the canal takes its name.
