Building work at the Mill

This is a view north from the main road through the village opposite the pond. A pleasant mix of autumnal colours is present in a garden that isn't manicured to within an inch of its life.

A garden in Bishopstone, Swindon
The building at the left is, I believe, an old watermill. It is built on a slope and the back of the property is much deeper than the front. The only plant I recognise is the sumach, the small orange tree nearest the mill. Quite decorative but they tend to spread suckers all over the place. Want to get rid of one?
