Youth Hostel, Upper Inglesham (1)
Situated in Upper Inglesham, "Littleholme" opened as a Youth Hostel in 1939, but closed in 1991. This photo was taken on a sunny Saturday in September, 1978. The television aerial on one of the chimneys is directed towards the television transmitter at Beckley near Oxford, SP5610 refers. The postcode of this former YH is SN6 7QY.

Originally built as three labourers' cottages, this was converted into one property in the 1920s and was the home of artists. In the 1950s it was a Youth Hostel.
