House off the B4042
This stub of a road appears to be the old road before the B4042 was re-directed to go under the M4 motorway. Several houses have been - probably favourably - cut off from direct access to the fast main road, seen here in the distance on the far right.

B4696 running north from Ballard's Ash
This road junction with B4042 was created when the B4042 was realigned during construction of the M4. The junction has wide verges to give a view to traffic, but the verges now have long grass
