Looking towards Wootton Bassett junction from Skew Bridge, Royal Wootton Bassett
This in the line from Bristol via Bath and Chippenham. Several hundred metres ahead, just about visible, the line from South Wales via Bristol Parkway joins from the left at Wootton Bassett Junction.
I do not know whether or not the grant of royal patronage in 2011 which changed the name of Wootton Bassett to Royal Wootton Bassett has been applied to the name of this junction.
