This structure was put in place a few years ago in an attempt to stop travellers from taking over the land to the right of it for several weeks during the summer. Dorcan Way is at the left of the image

This smallish body of water is well-used by local people for fishing and leisure. Home to lots of water-birds. The housing at left is also in Shaftesbury Avenue.
