Marston footbridge
Marston footbridge, near the village of South Marston to the east of Swindon, opened in March 2018 and replaced a former foot crossing of the Great Western Main Line. The new bridge affords good views of the railway in both directions.

A last journey at South Marston
Rail Operations Group class 37/7 No. 37884 hauls two Great Northern class 313 units - No. 313033 and No. 313047 on their final journey, from Hornsey depot to Sims's Metals at Newport Docks, for scrapping. The train is seen passing South Marston.
