Upper lake, The Lawn, Swindon
There are two lakes in the Lawn. This is the smaller of the two. Beyond the parkland on the other side of the lake is an area of housing developed in the 1930s.

Frozen lake in The Lawn park
The Lawn Park was formerly the grounds of the local lord of the manor's now demolished house. The park now forms an extensive green space, in the middle of an urban area. The park has two lakes, of which this is usually known as the lower lake. For another view:- Image
