The Swiss Chalet, Swindon
Arkell's pub on Chapel Street. Built in 1964 as The Carpenters Arms, (the western edge of the pub's car park is along Carpenters Lane), it was renamed The Swiss Chalet in 1988. The pub is renowned as a showcase for young pop bands in the Swindon area.
