Tree surgery, Limes Avenue, Pinehurst
Built in the 1930s, Pinehurst was one of the original garden cities, and as with most other streets in Pinehurst, Limes Avenue was named after a species of tree and lined with trees. The trees here have received severe crown reduction by Swindon Borough Council's tree surgeons. The houses are typical of Pinehurst.

Swindon Academy, Beech Avenue, Pinehurst
Officially opened on July 2nd, 2010, this £30 million, state-of-the-art school boasts dance and drama studios, a floodlit all-weather pitch, an international standard sports hall, and nine science labs, and has a capacity of 1800. It replaces Pinehurst Infants and Junior Schools and Headlands School, and caters for pupils of all ages up to 18 years. It was built on the site of the Pinehurst People's Centre, which was demolished in 2007.

Bay Tree Court, Tree Courts Housing Estate, Pinehurst
Bay Tree Court is one of a number of streets in this recently-built council housing estate off Pinehurst Road. In keeping with Pinehurst tradition, all the streets are named after trees.
