Bremilham Church, Cowage Farm
Bremilham Church stands in Cowage Farm and is thought to be the smallest church in England, measuring 10 x 11 feet. It may be the surviving part of a 15th century church or a mid-19th century rebuild on the site of the chancel of the demolished church, for use as a mortuary chapel. The building is Grade II listed. The church has no dedication and the parish registers go back only to 1813. Only one service is held per year on Rogation Sunday. https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1023220 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bremilham A 1729 bell from Foxley Church kept on an oak beam inside the church was stolen in early 2020 but later returned. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-51719738
