A view of the church from Middle Common. St Peter’s Church was built in 1856 by Mr Miller of Seagry. It was designed in the Early English Style in squared rubble stone with ashlar dressings, a stone slate roof, coped gables and an ashlar gabled bellcote at the west end. There are lancet windows, shallow buttresses and a stone slated timber porch. The interior includes a four bay nave roof of 1906, and east window of 1861 and a south nave window of 1906. Its first vicar was the Reverend John Jeremiah Daniells.

The area around Kington Langley is largely patches of common linking small gatherings of houses. Church Road separates Lower Common and Middle Common. A sign for the inn is, sadly, no longer reliable. Behind the signs is a utility cabinet with a sticker - see Image

A utility cabinet has been used in part to promote the anti-hunting campaign. However, it really reflects on Mr Seed's attempt to become the next Wiltshire Police Commissioner in the May 2021, elections. The story was revealed that, although proving a popular candidate, Mr Seed was declared inadmissible for standing as he had an old police record on his name, due to a driving offence. Seems the poster had a point.

This minor road begins a few yards behind the camera, heads west, changes its name three times and ends at the A429 where it is called Plough Lane. The building on the left appears to be an old barn which has been converted to a modern dwelling.

Kington Langley's has a convenient shelter, a generous gift from a local man who loved the village. Recent repairs are standing up well.

Among the notice board and a goalmouth, this wooden seat is in memory of a local man, installed 1983.

The old Hit or Miss Inn closed and has lain empty for some time now. A history of pulling pints for several hundred years is currently on hiatus. It is hoped that someone will come forward to open up again, although they will be needing to restock everything. Potential landlords/ladies are recommended to have about £30,000 to kickstart the pub, and find £26,000 per annum for the rent.
