Angels on the tower, Hartham Chapel, Corsham
The church is listed Grade II http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/default.aspx?pid=2&id=315177 and is not yet 150 years old. The Victorians didn't share the much earlier tastes for humorous or bizarre decorations http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=13686084 and these angels are no more than rather routine religious symbols.

Hartham Park
Looking to the northwest across the parkland which forms the majority of this square. The tower of Hartham Chapel can be seen above the trees. The pheasant in the foreground was a bonus! Hartham Lane runs behind the hedge to the left.
