It must be said this is only part of the story. There is an adjacent stone built structure out of shot to the left which has a far more substantial appearance.

There is no trace of the bridleway on the ground but the line of the right of way is straight towards the pylon on the skyline.

2010 : Mowing grass on a bridleway
Heading north from Sells Green.
The grass needs to come in, recent dry sunny weather has been good for it, will be past its best soon.
Pylons stride uncaring across the landscape to distant hills beyond the Avon Valley north of Melksham.

Trees near Broad Lane Farm
Although this image was originally taken to record the spectrum resulting from sunlight reflected off the high level cloud to the upper left of the rightmost tree, this image does show the mature trees which can be found in this area.
