Old Milestone by the A342, Lydeway, Urchfont parish
Metal plate attached to stone post by the A342, in parish of Urchfont (Kennet District), Lydeway; Froxley Corner opposite Lydeway Garage, at junction of UC road to Urchfont, on grass between path and fence, on West side of road. Burt iron casting, erected by the Devizes (consolidated) turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-
