Bulkington houses [4]
The magnificent Tynings Farmhouse was erected circa 1700. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1251286 Bulkington is a small village about 4½ miles west of the market town of Devizes and about 4½ miles south east of Melksham. The village has been occupied since the 12th century. During the 19th century a dairy centre was the main industry in the village but these days most workers commute.

A portland stone cross erected on a medieval stone base about 1920 with a plaque recording the names of those killed in WWI. Believed to have been erected on the site of the original medieval market cross, the remains of which were found in the garden of an adjacent bungalow. 2008 : Stream at Brasspan Bridge
The stream, unnamed by the OS Explorer Map, rises on the Salisbury Plain escarpment near Littleton Panell and joins the Semington Brook near Seend. Although small it was able to power at least one mill on the way.
