A walk around Bulkington [22]
The part of Mill Lane has high hedges on both sides. The walk follows the White Horse Trail long distance path from Bulkington to Townsend. Various footpaths then run across the fields to Worton. A byway, Bradford’s Way, to Mill Lane and a footpath to return to Bulkington. About 4.7 miles.

A walk around Bulkington [23]
At the point Mill Lane ceases to be a public road, it makes a T junction with a track. Heading north (seen here) towards Poulshot the track is a public footpath. Heading south the track is a public bridleway but only as far as the parish boundary just beyond Mill Farm. The walk follows the White Horse Trail long distance path from Bulkington to Townsend. Various footpaths then run across the fields to Worton. A byway, Bradford’s Way, to Mill Lane and a footpath to return to Bulkington. About 4.7 miles.
