A footpath from Whistley Road to Poulshot crosses the lane at the point where the bridleway running along Shillington Lane ends. This is the lane, still a bridleway, looking north west towards Poulshot Road.

2009 : Local bus on Devizes Road, Poulshot
Poulshot is about a mile north to south and less than 200 yards east to west.
Very little through traffic and the A361 is far enough to the north. One public house and a few farms.
