View From Winter Hill
There are fine views from all along this length of road on the top of a steep descent down to the Thames.
The river is hidden by trees but is just beyond the houses, The visible water is a gravel pit near Little Marlow.

Cookham Dean: Winter Hill
This was taken from a little way above Andrew's Image but shows Winter Hill in the height of summer. The land drops steeply to the left down to the River Thames. Winter Hill is also the name of the lane.

Kissing gate from Marlow Rugby Club on towpath
This side of the gate is the land of Marlow Rugby Club, the other side is pasture, so the gate has to allow people through on the towpath but prevent livestock from coming through. Just visible top left is a notice telling walkers to keep to the towpath.
