View eastward, towards Maidenhead and Paddington: ex-GWR Reading main line. The seven-day a week Wood Lane - Plymouth Milk empties is seen from an Up Local, headed by Collett 4-6-0 No. 6837 'Forthampton Grange' (built 9/37, withdrawn 11/65) - evidently in shining ex-Repair state.
